Well, someone was obviously going to release a rap video called “Boardwalk Empire State Of Mind” eventually, we just didn’t expect it to be Erik Weiner, aka Boardwalk Empire’s Agent Sebso, aka Agent Baby (we called him that because his suit and hat always looked a liiiittle too adorably big, plus searching for stock photos of baby detectives were the greatest days of our lives), aka now, the rapper alter-ego $EB$O.
It’s certainly reminiscent of the 2007 “White Guy Rapping Internet Video” Craze, but the production values are so impressive and the lyrics are really amusingly honest, so we give it our blessing (to get vision-married to your eyes). Actually, given Sebso’s exit from the show, we’ll refrain from using the term “blessing”. But it’s very well done:
