Here’s the new trailer for the upcoming HBO series Treme, a show about post-Katrina New Orleans that features Wendell Pierce, Clark Peters, John Goodman, Steve Zahn, and Melissa Leo, and created by David Simon of The Wire and Generation Kill import. Based on the subject matter and Simon’s prior work, I think we’re looking forward to the most feel-good, not-crushing-your-soul-about-humankind light watch of the tv season.
It’s a short teaser — just long enough to let you know the show involves New Orleans and instruments leaning on things — but it’s enough for me to already start going around being shocked that my friends HAVEN’T SEEN THIS SHOW YET ARE YOU KIDDING???
