Dear Readers,
Yesterday, I relayed a story to you, our dear BWE.tv readers, about my recent obsession with the movie Ghost, and more specifically, Patrick Swayze. In an effort to celebrate the movie and the man, I spent hours pouring over each frame of the film in order to bring you said post: The Top 20 Stupid Faces Made By Patrick Swayze in Ghost. If the comments were any indication, you guys loved it, and why wouldn’t you: Swayze can convey a variety of emotions (some stupid, some not) with the simplest of brow furrows.
This morning, some unsettling news broke. The National Enquirer reported that our beloved Swayze has been battling pancreatic cancer for some time now, and only has a few weeks left to live. You can imagine my shock and sadness, having just spent the better part of my weekend staring at his beautiful face, at hearing such devastating news.
Not to mention my guilt. Clearly, my clairvoyance got the best of me regarding yesterday’s list, but some of you out there seem to think this was some plan of mine to mock a man dying of cancer. Other blogs linking to the post have brought up my “questionable timing” and one anonymous commenter threw out a “Real classy guys” for good measure. But don’t you see? I was celebrating the man, before anyone knew anything was wrong!
So to make up for what can only be described as horrendous timing, I bring you the following post with which to cleanse your palettes: The Top 5 Most Handsomest, Well-Acted Faces of Patrick Swayze in Ghost. I would have picked 20, but I was afraid my trail of tears would short out my keyboard.
“Life sure has a sick sense of humor, doesn’t it?” — Patrick Swayze in Point Break.

After the jump, the handsome faces get handsomer and even more well acted.

I would also like to add that, if God forbid our beloved Swayze goes, it will become nearly impossible to watch roughly 60 percent of Ghost, most specifically, the end. Oh God, just thinking about it hurts. Where’s the phone, I’ve gotta call Mom.
