In the movie, Owen Wilson’s nostalgia-obsessed character keeps raving to everyone about how hip-hop collaborations truly peaked in the 1980s, though later in the film he encounters Run-DMC and Grandmaster Flash and they keep saying that music never got better than the Golden Era Of Motown in the 60s and early 70s, then Rachel McAdams walks in and she’s just a complete a-hole.
