Lucy The Tiny Yorkie Named World’s Smallest Working Dog

On the heavier side of the news, Lucy, a Yorkshire Terrier standing 5.7 inches and weighing just two and a half pounds, has been officially crowned “World’s Smallest Working Dog” by the Guinness Book Of World Records. Here she is accepting the comically giant certificate:

Cuuuuuteeeee! Even by crazy-high internetcute standards!! Lucy works as a ‘therapy dog’ for the elderly in New Jersey, and broke the previous record for ‘smallest working dog’ by a heavy three-and-a-half-pound margin. I doubt her record will fall anytime soon, as any smaller dog clearly wouldn’t be able to move, let alone work or accept hilarious certificates.

I’m just glad Yorkies finally got some positive news this week after the whole Casey Anthony’s Dog thing
