Sure, we all know that the new season of Mad Men is going to kick off on March 25, but just what is the new season going to be about. According to head honcho Matthew Weiner, the season will deal with each of the characters changing the word that they live in. In his own words:
And the other thing is — and it really just kept coming up and it’s actually in the show — I’ve never talked about this before, where the line is in the show in episode three and it’s ‘When is everything going to get back to normal?’
Hmm sounds like the next season is going to be a return to the absolutely hilarious show we all remember! That, or a dark, depressing Mr. Toad’s journey through alcoholism and abuse. Eitehr way! We’ll be watching.
And not to spoil things, but Copyranter snapped a pic of this promotional poster for the new season in New York. You know what I always say: The series will end with Don Draper falling out of his Madison Avenue window, either on purpose or “accidentally” (wasted). Then again, Weiner has told reporters that he plans on having the series end with Don living in present day as an old man. Mmmhmm. An old man falling out a damn window.
