We’ve learned a lot about Nicolas Cage in 2011, between his naked fudgesicle story and the fact that he is literally a vampire, but now we can add another Cage-tastic piece of trivia to that list: A photo of Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter from Raising Arizona appeared on an 8th Grade Biology textbook in Serbia for nearly a decade (click for humorously large version):
As with all Nic Cage related occurrences, I would’ve been more surprised if Cage’s photo DIDN’T appear on any Serbian biology textbooks circulating schools in Belgrade from 1993 to 2001. If anything, I’m only surprised that Nicolas Cage is standing in front of a rose garden and not another photo of Nicolas Cage.
