So not everyone is a fan of male circumcision, OBVIOUSLY. Seriously, though, some people virulently believe that “trimming the helmet” (our term) is unnatural, unhealthy, and an invasion of a baby’s right to choose. In fact, come November, San Franciscans will be given the opportunity to ban the act for dudes under eighteen (imagine if turning legal meant a teenager could drive with his newly minted license to, like, Supercuts 4 Wieners?).
One dude who is totes on board with this whole thing is Matthew Hess, a “pro-human rights activist” whose comic book, Foreskin Man, features a blond, blue-eyed superhero out to protect newborn boys from a menacing, hook-nosed rabbi named Monster Mohel, for whom “nothing [is more exciting] than cutting into the penile flesh of an eight-day-old infant boy.” Oh brother.
Hess denies the allegations that his sentiments are Anti-Semitic, while we’re like…um, dude, look at that rabbi. Are we crazy, or has Hess traded a firm belief in preserving babyd*cks “pure” with going full Mel Gibson on our a**es? Judge for yourself:
