Papa John’s UK is hopping on the “Turn Every Object Into Royal Wedding Object” bandwagonne (British spelling for that), by releasing the official Prince William and Kate Middleton Royal Wedding Pizza:
I would make fun of how ridiculous these are getting, but there’s already a frickin’ Royal Wedding toilet seat, so that shark has long been jumped. Plus the pizza actually looks really impressive, so I will “Tip my derby to those clever roustabouts,” as everyone in England constantly says at all times.
The pizza sells for £500, so it’s basically not a real menu item, just an excuse to have blogs link to photos of it for free publicity. MAN are blogs stupid like that.
Also, just a thought: Is the Royal Wedding actually happening? Or is it some thing that just gets widely promoted for a year then everyone kind of forgets about it and isn’t sure it was an actual event, like the movie Gulliver’s Travels?
