I’m automatically on board with pretty much anything Dumb & Dumber related, but the folks at NURV have gone above and beyond with this Inception-style Dumb & Dumber trailer, proving once and for all that with a few minor tweaks, the film could’ve been an epic thriller.
It’s not really Inception-y as much as it is just a classic, “make happy thing creepy” internet re-cut, but it’s the best one I’ve seen in a really long time — who knew Dumb & Dumber was so violent?
D&D fans will note that they even went through the trouble to re-cut the “Guy like you and a girl like me” audio to correct the joke — there truly is a fine line between “committed to the premise” and “inescapably OCD”.
