We’ve been hit with a new Dinner For Schmucks trailer! Despite the awful title, it looks funny in a terrible destruction/embarrassment sort of way, in keeping with Meet The Parents, which makes sense because it’s the same director. My only problem is that no one in life would act like any character in this trailer, except for the corporate a-holes. Maybe. But then again, no one would act like Ben Stiller in Meet The Parents and, well, most comedies ever made. For example, no one would form a team of Ghostbusters (that might not be true). Also, we have no need for a team of Ghostbusters (yet). My quibbles are for naught, I’m sure. And, since it’s based on a French film, there’s basically nothing I can say that won’t be met with a “But it’s based on a French film.” Here’s the new trailer:
What About Bob? meets…meets…Drop Dead Fred …throw in a dash of Clue (dinner party-wise)…meets…what do you think?
