Here’s a local news report out of San Antonio tracking the phenomenon of high school kids pretending to be werewolves, which is obviously a thing. The report itself somehow manages to far exceed any ridiculousness of the trend, though, including perhaps the greatest and most-informed piece of information ever delivered in a local news broadcast:
“More recently, movies like Van Helsing and the Twilight series have captured the attention of teenagers.”
Are you sure Twilight has anything to do with it? Cause I’m guessing it’s mostly the Van Helsing teen craze that’s still sweeping the nation. You can’t go to a high school sock hop these days without kids yelling “Do the Van Helsing!” and breaking out that elaborate Van Helsing dance that everyone remembers and knows and still does.
