Yes, folks, 54 years ago, hospital administrator Rosalyn Saget brought forth unto this world a small boy who would grow up to become one of the seminal hosts of America’s Funniest Home Videos: Bob Saget (also a sometime actor). Saget wanted to follow in mum’s footsteps and become a doctor. But the call of Hollywood was too strong, too primal. And so Bob Saget decided to ditch his Jewish mother’s dream, and then piss all over that dream by playing Danny Tanner on TV’s Full House.
