Another Hollywood dream couple, another frantic rush for cover as the glass shards of relationship reality come crashing down around us. Here is one of those sad situations where we hear about a Hollywood break-up and actually feel real pangs of sadness. The ever-radiant Kate Winslet has announced she is separating from Oscar-winning director husband Sam Mendes. The couple has two children together, and have told the press their separation is completely amicable.
While we are literally CRUSHED by this news, we’re trying to remain positive. Like, hey, only 1 in 6 Americans go hungry, or, look at that! Hotel Rwanda is available on Netflix! Or, oh good! Our tests came back! And they’re positive!! (With disease.)
But, silver lining alert: This does get Winslet one step closer to fulfilling her destiny as the long lost true love of Leonardo DiCaprio’s life.
