I wondered how directly Conan would mention the Leno / 11:30 move on Monday’s Tonight Show, and whether or not he’d slip in a subtle joke or two here or there or if NBC would keep a leash on the show for the time being and not allow any specific mention of the ongoing Leno rumors.
Turns out, Conan came out and directly mentioned the rumors, then his first four monologue jokes were all about NBC and Jay Leno, then they were followed by this list of “Conan’s Options,” in which Conan seemed juuuuust a little bit…not happy with the network:
