During a recent conversation with my best friend who just marathoned the third season of Mad Men while in bed with flu, we both had a realization: While Jon Hamm was clearly the hottest man on the cast/television in gennies, the real star of the “men we want to do” show was John Slattery, i.e. Roger Sterling, who had the bonus of being both good looking and having a real personality. Sorry, Draper, but your affair with the teacher sort of ruined everything. We’re Roger & Joanie for life now.
Random Mad Men rants aside, we have to thank the fine folks over at The Colbert Report, not only for being rere geniuses, but also for bringing John Slattery back into our lives as the spokesman for Prescott Financial. We’d gladly be his sheep any night of the week.

The man’s really come a long way since his Sex and the City peeing on people days, hasn’t he? (via ONTD)
