Congrats to New Moon for posting the third-highest-grossing weekend in box office history:

If only they had included a scene where Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner danced “The Twist” in their kitchen while playing with food and also Robert Pattinson discovered an alien suit that made him goth and interested in women, it might’ve managed to grab that #2 spot. Let that be a lesson to all aspiring filmmakers out there.

Honestly, though, as long as Dark Knight remains untouched on that perch, all is right with the world. I don’t mean movie-wise, either, I mean that the world is perfect as long as Dark Knight still has the #1 grossing box office weekend. Name one problem with the world. See? That’s how awesome that movie still is.
