Yesterday marked one of the most historic days in America’s history, as Barack Obama was sworn in as our 44th President. But yesterday was notable for another reason altogether. That’s because on January 20, 2009, Barack and Michelle Obama officially became THE GREATEST PARENTS IN THE WORLD.

That’s because, while they were off being adorable and classy and dancey all over D.C., they gave a very special “First Night In the White House Gift” to daughters Malia and Sasha. The girls — who must have been exhausted — invited over a couple of friends (let’s call them “the luckiest, do-nothing children in America” for conveniences sake) for an exclusive home screening of High School Musical 3 and Bolt.

And after that? All amazing parental mayhem broke loose. The girls were given a White House scavenger hunt to complete, in an effort to familiarize them with their new home. And please… GET THIS:

At the end of Malia and Sasha’s scavenger late-night hunt, they opened a door to discover their favorite musical performers: Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas — the pop boy band sensation who first exploded on the Disney Channel and also appeared earlier this week at the Kids’ Inaugural Concert.

I’ll tell you this: If they DID in fact get to spend the night in the Lincoln bedroom, Abe Lincoln himself was doing one of two things: He was either rolling over in his grave… or extremely aroused. Or both.

Also, Barack & Mich, you’re starting to make every other parent in the country look bad. Tone it down a crotch, you’ve only been in there for 24 hours. (p.s. Love you guys, K.I.T., stay sweet, never change.)
