What if we told you that a workout video exists featuring all the sexy moves from the hit 80s film Dirty Dancing? You’d probably be strappin’ on your Capezios right now. But what if we then told you that this same workout video is actually aimed at people who were alive during the 1920s. You’d probably be taking off those Capezios and putting them on the feet of your Great-Grandfather’s corpse.

Graphic imagery? Maybe. But not nearly as graphic as the over-the-top madness happening in the Dirty Dancing Workout DVD. Much like the epic Microsoft Songsmith commercial, this infomercial seems devoid of any self-awareness. So much so that it features dances that weren’t even IN Dirty Dancing!

Even the woman leading our dancers seems unsure about its authenticity. Listen to the waiver in her voice as she unconvincingly assures that “This is actually from the movie, guys!” And look. We love Dirty Dancing like any able bodied person, but “#1 movie of all time”? That’s the kind of line that should really be saved for your Titanic Instructional Swimming DVDs.

Terrible as that DVD looks, we will gladly face off against any of you in the “Saturday Night Challenge.” Sleepover at our house, guys!!
