Have you always wanted to see The Shawshank Redemption, but haven’t had a chance to rent the movie or buy the book in the last fifteen years, but also happen to be near a playhouse in London with a bunch of money and prefer Fake Tim Robbins and Fake Morgan Freeman to the originals?
I know I have always thought that specific thing. Which is why I’m psyched for the new British Shawshank Redemption staged adaptation:
I wonder how it ends! Are they in jail forever?? Gonna book my flight to London ASAP so I can finally find out.
The Internet Play Database users have already dubbed it the Greatest Play of All Time. Until a stage version of Fight Club comes out, at least.
