After dominating the MTV Movie Awards, Twilight has now been nominated for TWELVE Teen Choice Awards, more than High School Musical 3 or The Jonas Brothers, in the following prestigious categories (which are not in any way ripped off the MTV Awards Show):
- Choice Movie: Drama
- Choice Movie: Romance (Because really, you can’t contain the breadth of this film in one genre. It’s like Jerry Maguire with vampires instead of money-showing)
- Choice Movie Actress: Drama – Kristen Stewart
- Choice Movie Actor: Drama – Robert Pattinson (trying to join the elite company of Jack Nicholson for About Schmidt and Peter Fonda for Ulee’s Gold)
- Choice Movie: Villain – Cam Gigandet
- Choice Movie: Fresh Face Female – Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed (the classiest way to vote for “Hottest Underager”)
- Choice Movie: Fresh Face Male – Taylor Lautner
- Choice Music: Soundtrack
- Choice Movie: Rumble – Robert Pattinson vs. Cam Gigandet (because teens these days definitely still use the term “Rumble”)
- Choice Movie: Liplock – Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson (replacing last year’s highly controversial “Choice Movie: HJ” category)
All I can say is, Man On Wire got its ass ROBBED.
