Does Gmail Do Anything Except Come Up With April Fool’s Jokes?

For the last four years now, the entire staff of Gmail has consisted solely of three dudes sitting in a tiny writers’ room throwing bouncy balls off the wall and discussing their next April Fool’s joke:

Not that I’m against April Fool’s joking, but I can’t remember the last Gmail development that wasn’t an April Fool’s joke — these dudes treat April Fool’s Day like the mayor in Nightmare Before Christmas treats Halloween.
