But bless Match.com, whose latest “Check out the awesome people on Match.com!” commercial proves the age old theory that the people on Match.com probably suck. (“No offense, lonely people! You are probably awesome!” — Collar Pull Jenkins.) This ad features a man known only by his mysterious username Croonercool. So what’s a guy who calls himself “Croonercool” really like? Well, 15 seconds into our date, I’d probably sneak up behind him with a telephone wire and strangle him to death. But that’s just me. Perhaps some of you ladies out there could picture yourself on a cross-country road trip while listening to this the. entire. time.
