Chris Brown has finally manned up and admitted that he has no one to blame for the awful Rihanna incident but his publicity team:
Brown is “looking for a whole new team†to replace his current crew, “starting with his manager, Tina Davis“… But it isn’t just Davis – Brown is said to be “upset with his whole team,†including publicity-loving lawyer Mark Geragos and p.r. man Mike Sitrick. The insider added: “Chris wanted to apologize [for the alleged beat-down] much earlier . . . and he was upset when the apology was finally released because it sounded so insincere.â€
What a despicable story – this publicity team should be ashamed of itself. This is the example we want to set for our children? A publicity team that can’t properly deliver an obligatory apology after its client punched his girlfriend in the face? This publicity team makes me SICK.
And to think — children out there are listening to Chris Brown and looking up to Chris Brown and then his publicity team has to go and do something awful like this, it’s just… it’s so typical of the publicity teams of today, you know? I realize that publicity teams sometimes don’t ask to be role models, but they still have a responsibility to our children, and what they did to Rihanna was was absolutely inexcusable. At least Chris Brown is classy enough to admit their mistake.
