Check out the above lil’ white pony named Mayflower. Small yet regal, short but dignified, this pony is up to only good. So why is this little guy causing such a local fuss? Well, to put it simply, people are re-res.
Locals in the English countryside driving by Mayflower’s farm have been dialing the fire department, because they think that he is STUCK IN THE MUD. They drive by, see him out grazing next to the taller, more ablebodied horses, and fear that his stumpy pony legs extend another few feet into God’s green earth. Locals have called the police ALMOST A THOUSAND TIMES, costing the town thousands of pounds of false alarm.
Though this sentence alone clearly has to be worth at least half of that money:
This week Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service answered their fourth call to save the life of the 2ft 4ins tall pony they have dubbed ‘Shorty’. Fire brigade animal rescue expert Anton Phillips was dispatched with 12 other firemen to help the animal before they realised she was not in danger.
Do you think they just lifted him off the ground? Wondering why he was so light? He’s like a little galloping empty suitcase.
One solution? They could always get him a little dwarf horsey wheelchair. That should clear up a lot of confusion.
