Many months ago, when I shared an office with current Defamer scribe Mark Graham, we both became aware of perhaps one of the most classic television moments in history: The “I Can Do 200 Of These!” guy on Deal or No Deal. The concept: Simple. A garbageman, in an effort to preserve the last shred of his youth, takes a walker given to him by the banker, and shows him exactly what he’s gonna do with them. To put it simple, he can do 200 of these. (Ed. Note: I find the grainy quality of the clip, taped directly off of my tv screen, to lend it exactly the sort of grit Deal or No Deal is so greatly missing.)
