I’ve defended Katie Holmes in the past, and I have no regrets, but for some reason, I’m notttttt totally surprised that the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons starring none other than -Kat herself isn’t selling any tickets.

Why, you ask, would people not want to shell out $950 in a struggling economy to see a face from supermarket checkout counters pop up in a vicious, tragic satire of war-era American capitalism? Maybe it’s because the poster looks like Holmes has been Photoshopped into it:

But honestly, I think we should just play it safe and blame John Lithgow. That bastard.
