I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to listen to Kanye West’s song “Flashing Lights” the same way ever again. First there was that crazy video where some badass scantily-clad supermodel stuffs Kanyeze in the trunk of a car, savagely beats him with a shovel and presumably leaves him for dead. And now I see this new unreleased video, in which yet another scantily-supermodel stumbles around her amazing apartment drinking a lot, then gets violently roughed up by some hooligans and is last seen huddled in the corner of a dingy subway car and crying. I really hope there aren’t any more secret unreleased alternate versions floating around out there, because to be honest, they’re starting to bum me out. Next it’ll probably be Kanye rapping in a smoky slo-mo jungle while some third-world country is being raped and plundered by violent overlords.
