Today, the Television Gods were on my side as I noticed BET was showing Diff’rent Strokes at 3:30. And which episode, dear readers, do you think was aired? Why, only the most scarring television debacle to happen to this 5 year old in the mid-80s… the famous CHILD MOLESTER EPISODE! The second I saw Arnold and Dudley in that bicycle shop… y’all my heart just stopped! I just rocked myself at my desk, repeating over and over “Boston Cream Pie… Boston Cream Pie…” Of all the things!
