This year, for the first time ever, I actually watched the entire season of The Bachelor. Maybe because the man looking for love was a tall successful Brit, or perhaps because this year’s Bachelor hailed from England… whatever the reason, at least 12 hours of my life have been devoted to the unfolding romance between Matt Grant and the handful of lucky ladies he clearly took to. Last night, during the show’s finale, Matt finally proposed to the one girl he truly fell in love with, Shayne. But she wasn’t really only a girl.

No, as this montage will prove, Matt was looking for more than a girl… he was looking for a monkey.

Good luck dealing with that baby voice for the next few months Matty!! Though, to be fair, I did see a warmer connection between these two than with Chelsea, who showed up at the finale ceremony walking like John Voight in Midnight Cowboy.
