Seeing as we’ve been on a calendar kick these days, we couldn’t help but bring to light this ultimately sad tale of poor people doing stupid things. See sometimes, plots that would make for hilarious indie films don’t actually turn out so funny in real life. Take the case of a handful of women in a small hamlet outside of Madrid, Spain, who decided that the best way to raise money for their small, local school would be to strip to their skivvies and pose in what boils down to decidedly unladylike display. It’s only snatchural.

Shockingly, the calendars did not fly off of the shelves as hoped. And now, the ladies are not only still poor, but in addition owe their printer about $16,000. We’re not sure what qualifies for “sexy” overseas, but really, is it ever not sexy to sit with your legs spread open while blocking your bizcocho with a huge, well-used umbrella? If the overuse of double-negatives in the last sentence confused you, the answer is: We’re pretty sure it’s not that sexy.
