While this season’s slew of American Idol contestants runs the gamut from fierce to cute to blah, one constant remains the same season to season: Paula Abdul is on crack. (And yes, usually when people say this it’s a euphemism for them being crazy, but in this instance we’re almost allegedly positive that Paula is huffing the rock.) The show is practically flaunting her slurred ways!

And while we could literally sit in a dark room and watch footage of her clapping like a half-miscarried seal on loop, we also couldn’t help but notice that this week, Paula seemed to be morphing into one of SNL’s most valuable new recurring characters: Nicholas Fehn, “political comedian” (played by the fantastic Fred Armisen.) The more we watch the following video comparing the two, the more they start to even LOOK alike.
