If I had to write out a list of my favorite bands on a postage stamp using a Jumbo Sharpie, the Flaming Lips would still be on there. They’re the best live act I’ve ever seen, and I worship about five of their albums with the kind of annoyingly vocal devotion that always rolls my eyes when I’m not the one doing it, well past the point where I’m able to easily understand why a band with modest mainstream success would agree to use their songs in a Dell Inspiron commercial or an ad for Land Rover.

But can someone explain to me what in the name of foamy bunny costumes a version of “Yeah Yeah Yeah Song” is doing in this commercial for a new line of Kraft salad dressings?
