Postcards From Yo Momma is a so-simple-it’s-genius new site in which people anonymously send in hilarious e-mails they’ve received from their well-meaning mothers. As someone who routinely receives all manner of adorably unnecessary communiques from my own mom (the last one was a bunch of pictures of stuff people drew in the foam of their cappuccino cups – I don’t get a whole lot of email as it is, so I was very grateful to mother for sending me this crucial information!), I can’t believe it took so long for someone to think of this site. While all the posts on the site have had the names redacted to preserve anonymity, at least one of the mommy-mails was sent in by none other than Oscar-winning catchphrase mistress, Diablo Cody.

I read the blog today and loved the article from the New Yorker, your blob is very funny and clever you have so much fun with it no wonder everyone Love’s it.
