We’re hearing rumors out of Dallas, TX that Jessica Simpson and football hunky boyfriend guy Tony Romo are now husband and wife. So far, the only word we’re seeing about this news online is from the always dependable country of Australia. But our source, let’s just call her our video editor’s Aunt Gracie, who lives in Dallas, claims this news is all over the local airwaves.
We tried calling Romo’s publicist, Vivian Fullerlove, but appropriate names aside, we only reached her voicemail. Now, it looks like her line is busy… Vivy, call us for a quote!

Update #2: Success! Tony Romo’s lovely publicist, Vivian Fullerlove, just returned my call. Here’s how our conversation went down:
Michelle: Hi Vivian! Thanks for calling me back. So, we’ve been hearing rumors that the adorable Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson had a secret wedding ceremony. Is this true?
Vivian: Well, I can’t really comment on his personal life…
Michelle: I see. So professional questions only?
Vivian: Yes.
Michelle: Mmhmm. (pause) So… what does Tony do to stay in shape?
Vivian: Well, he loves to play golf. He’s a fabulous golfer… almost joined the PGA tour!
Michelle: Get out! (pause) How’s he been enjoying this recent downtime?
Vivian: Oh, he loves it. But he’s been keeping in shape, playing basketball, a lot of different sports…
Michelle: A lot of… indoor sports?
Vivian: (laughing) I gotta go…
So, no confirmation yet!
Update #3: We think we may have hit the end of the line. Just got off of the phone with a friendly Dallas man over at 98.7 KLUV (”North Texas’ Greatest Hits”). He wanted to help, but ended reading back to me a few lines from the Australian article linked to above… specifically this line:
Jessica – who has been dating American football star Tony Romo since last November – was leaving Los Angeles restaurant Chili’s with her mum Tina on Tuesday when Tina revealed the 27-year-old star has secretly wed.
When asked if Jessica was planning to marry Tony, Tina laughed: “Jessica is already married to Tony! What are you talking about?”
