Ready Misty sent us this holiday gift idea that I think is going to be all the rage this year. Meet Herpes Simplex 2, the giant plushy microbe that is “soft, cute, durable, well made, educational, and just a lot of fun too!” He’s yellow, has two eyes, and sort of resembles a flower. It’s comforting to know that if I were ever to accidentally (probably) contract herpes, there would literally be millions of these little fellas swimmin’ around in my cooch! I can totally imagine some well-meaning meemaw giving this to her grandchild, not knowing at all what it was. Later, in public, Meemaw says, “Who gave you Herpes?” Grandchild says, “Meemaw did!”
