I happened to flip by the highly enjoyable ABC show Pushing Daisies last night, and as I was pausing for a second to grab a Wednesday Night Pointlessbeer from the fridge, I heard my roommate randomly exclaim, “Hey it’s the dude from your thing!”
Indeed, there was the dude Paul F. Tompkins playing “The Geek,” a novelty magician who turns to murder when his mentor abandons him. As happy as I always am to see PFT appearing in stuff outside of BWE, it was still an unexpected clash of my professional and personal lives, like that time I came home from work and Lindsay Lohan was naked on my bed and was like “I want you to give it to me all night” and I was like “whoa, I gotta deal with this crap all day at work and now at home too?? You got any viral videos of cats you wanna show me too, Lindsay? The answer is NO.”
