If you have ears you have probably heard the lovely (and acclaimed) singer Adele. Or perhaps you may have seen her as the musical guest on the Sarah Palin episode of SNL. Though she’s often been compared to Amy Winehouse, I think her voice has a more luxurious, what-is-that-velvet? quality than Amy’s ever did. Adele’s music is hypnotic, beautiful, and stirring – trust me. This is something I learned the hard way, when she visited me at work. You’d be surprised how hard it is to get stuff done with a soul singer shadowing you for the day.

If you haven’t done so already, I highly recommend checking out Adele’s debut album, 19. And even though she did call me a b*tch, I think we’re totally going to be best friends for life.
