In the most obvious Baz Luhrmann HJ attempt of all time, People Magazine has named Australia star Hugh Jackman as their Sexiest Man of 2008. Don’t get us wrong: We love Hugh Jackman and find his charm and ease of self extremely sexy. But it just seems to be an extremely random choice, especially given that George Clooney has grown a moustache. (To be fair, we are GRATEFUL that Clooney was not given this title for a 53rd time.)

Then again, we’re not sure if we completely agree with People’s cover choice:

OK The truth is, we cannot get enough of the above picture of Hugh, which is one of his top 2 faces ever.
