Last night, The Cinema Society & Details Magazine hosted a screening of the new Gus Van Sant movie Milk. Starring Sean Penn as Harvey Milk, the movie follows the story of America’s first openly gay elected official, and if the reveiws are any indication, the film is gearing up for serious Oscar contention for Best Actor, Best Supporting, and Best Picture, among others.
