When. When is Photoshop going to invent a tool that will make actresses look like they aren’t under the influence of qualudes? They could call it the magic-eye-life wand. Here, a very pregnant Rebecca Romijn makes me want to never have children. She looks so tired and bored with it. In the article, she describes herself as “a beached whale.” Also, the cover quote is genius: “I can’t eat enough. My ankles are huge. But I feel beautiful.” Really? Because I don’t quite see her feeling beautiful. I don’t see the smiling with the eyes. More like praying-to-God-she’ll-give-birth-soon with the eyes.
Maybe I’m being too harsh. She looks barely alive – which is exactly what a beached whale is. Perhaps I should praise Page Six Magazine for capturing someone exactly as they are at that moment!
