I walked past the following subway poster for The Apollo Theater’s Amateur Night this morning and actually thought to myself, “man, this concert looks AMAZING” for longer than any human could excusably think that to themselves (meaning, longer than .000000000001 seconds):
After giving it some more thought, I’m preeeeetty sure that Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald aren’t going to be performing anytime soon. James Brown is a possibility, though, if he is in fact just doing his most elaborate “Please, please don’t go!” stunt yet.
Why am I admitting this on the blog? Because I feel like some of you have probably had similar brain-cramped experiences, and I just want you to know, hard as it may be to believe, even us brilliant and attractive BWE editors are capable of being dumbasses from time to time. Does that get me off the hook? No? Sh*t.
