Finally, someone has actually behaved like a normal human being on The Hills! On last night’s episode, Heidi’s mom made a “surprise” visit, and confronted her daughter and King Dillweed about living together (and why they had not yet told her). Heidi’s mom requested to have lunch with Spencer, because she’s trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. Spencer’s reaction was so polite. He obviously knows that the key to a woman’s heart is to kiss up to her mom. He was especially kind to Heidi’s mom at lunch, referring to her as “my dear” with all the love of a serial killer. And as you’ll see in the clip below, Heidi’s mom is the first person on the show to actually confront Spencer on how much he sucks.
I know I’m not supposed to give more publicity to Heidi and Spencer, but this sh*t disturbs me. Little girls look up to Heidi, and they think this show is real. From her, they are learning that you should remain silent and stare wide-eyed while your controlling boyfriend forbids you to have a relationship with anyone else and talks to you with a patronizing tone of contempt whenever you voice your own opinion. And that mannequin teeth are sexy.

Regardless – and I can’t believe I’m about to defend this guy – did he really do anything all that bad? It’s not like Lauren and him were engaged. They just acted in a couple scenes together for a TV show, right? And she’s the one who dumped him. So now he’s not allowed to talk to anyone else? Gross. Lauren ConStache is really starting to wear on me. She needs to take her self-righteous face to a spa and get her moustache waxed.
