Of the hundreds and hundreds of cat greeting cards received to celebrate “my special day” yesterday, one of them really stood out. Given to me by BWE coordinating producer Jaime Entner, not only was it one of the funnier cards I received, but it also spoke novels about where we are as a nation, specifically in terms of movie title parodies.
I slipped my thumb under the envelope, tore the flap back, reached in, and pulled out the following brilliance:
A card that combines two of my favorite things: Cats and puns. And for me, the final proof that High School Musical has finally made it into the pop culture lexicon: It now has a card card based off of it.
I haven’t been this excited since my Dad gave me the following card in 1998… which you can see by clicking ahead.
