Part of our job here at BWE.tv is to pick out the occasional gossip story that’s just lightly amusing in its own insignificance, and sort of share a sort of communal, appreciative cynicism towards the celebrity world and celebrity news coverage. All in good fun, we don’t take things too seriously, and we take special delight in those especially innocuous celebrity stories that remind us just how amusingly obsessed our culture is with movie stars.
Sometimes, though, things just AREN’T MOTHERF***ING NEWS:
Cameron Diaz has a bumpy elbow. She’s not even promoting a movie right now and having her publicist plant her name in the news at all costs — The Daily Mail is actually going out of its way to have a reporter write up a story about Cameron Diaz’s bumpy elbow which will then be read by an editor, approved, then proclaimed to the public lest we struggle another fortnight without knowing whether or not her elbow is regular or bumpy.
Please, internet, can we at least have SOME degree of filterage when decided what does and does not constitute actual celebrity news? Quick Review:
