We’re only a few episodes into the 874th season of the Real World, and thanks to Real World Dailies, I’m already starting to feel like this is the best cast in a long time. Take the following clip, for instance, in which a drunken Brianna and Kimberly engage in a loud, nearly-violent reality show ho-off the likes of which we had not seen on MTV for what must have been, like, hours. We’ve seen many ho-offs in the past of course, but this one involved many accusations of stripper-pole-loving hooker whoredom, cigarettes, deluded references to “my music”, unironic use of “cracker” as a racial slur, implied racism by a blonde chick, meathead dudes trying to get laid by stopping the fight, and many verbal threats to “f*ck you up”. It’s basically what would happen if you took West Side Story, got the Jets and the Sharks wasted on vodka-Red Bulls, stuffed them into mini-skirts, gave them terrible extensions, and filmed them pretending to fight each other. In a word, Awesometarded.
