Anyone with half a brain by now realizes that Amy Poehler is truly a comedy goddess. While her marriage to fellow comedy god Will Arnett should be proof enough, Poehler has slowly come to dominate the lady comedy brat pack with various appearances in big budget comedy flicks, and her upcoming starring role with Tina Fey in the movie Baby Mama.
But this weekend, Poehler took her genius to a whole new level when she hit the stage doing a PITCH PERFECT impression of Project Runway winner Christian Siriano… which, in the end, involved saying “Fierce” and “Tranny” a lot. The resemblance is insane, and her hyper-feminized body movements makes the real Amy Poehler look positively brutish.
So is Amy the funniest person on SNL? We’re going to say yes, and dare we say, one of the funniest women to ever grace the stage (You’re in good company, Ellen Cleghorne!) Sorry Billy Hader, we love you to but… this bitch is fee– well, you know what I mean.
