I’m sure that Illena Douglas meant well by her little coup d’etat against grotesque celebrity paparazzi coverage, but she apparently never stopped to think about the collateral damage she could be causing. You see, as she paraded around the red carpet for the premiere of a television show, gravely holding up a sign that says “TMZ Causes Cancer. Stop filming celebrities, and start filming poverty” with the calm determination of a Zen Buddhist master who just lit himself on fire, innocent passer-by Tom Arnold was suddenly thrust into a vortex of desperate confusion when his usual chatty-banter paparazzi walk suddenly happened upon a serious act of protest. Clearly incapable of handling this unforeseen development, Arnold just starts babbling uncontrollably as if he can simply talk the awkwardness away. It’s sad and sorta adorable and probably the most Hollywoody thing you’ll see all day. Also, for the record, TMZ assures us that they DO film homeless people (because they’re hilarious!).
