Courtney Cox is on the talk show circuit to promote the new season of her FX series Dirt, in which she plays the high-powered editor of an UsWeekly-esque tabloid mag. Maybe she’s a method actress who has fallen a little too far into her character, or maybe she’s just starting to feel old, but one thing is for certain: she’s been hitting the face tranq’s pretty hard, as is harrowingly demonstrated by the fact that she was incapable of MOVING HER EYEBROWS OR LIPS during this interview on Today. Look, I understand how the unrealistic demands Hollywood puts on women to be young and pretty can cause an aging actress to seek out whatever cosmetic help she can get, but how can Courtney possibly act without the ability to speak comfortably or make expressions? Still, there is something wonderfully ironic about a Botox-binging actress playing a tabloid maven who makes her living on rumors about which actresses binge on Botox. That alone might make the show worth watching. Anyway, here’s a person in a Monica mask on the Today show, then after the jump (if you can handle any more), Monicabot is physically unable to laugh or smile at Letterman’s jokes.
