Scientists in England are on the verge of inventing an Alzheimer’s Helmet which, through the use of what appears to be complicated fans and Koss headphones, they claim can turn back the signs of Alzheimers Disease. The helmet works like so:
The strange-looking headgear – which has to be worn for ten minutes every day – bathes the brain with infra-red light and stimulates the growth of brain cells.
Its creators believe it could reverse the symptoms of dementia – such as memory loss and anxiety – after only four weeks.
Alzheimer’s disease charities last night described the treatment as “potentially life- changing” – but stressed that the research was still at the very early stages.
And all it takes is 10 minutes a day of head microwaving to reverse the process!
Sadly, doctors are not sure when the Alzheimers Helmet will be available to the public, but until then, we here at BestWeekEver.tv have our own suggestion for a makeshift Alzheimers Helmet… and all you need is a helmet, 2 long sticks, some paper, a marker, and a “forgetful” Grandpa!
